Build Your Own Baby Plan {Los Angeles Baby Photographer}

Having a baby is a MAJOR life event! And once they are here, they grow so fast that it feels like “babyhood” is going to be over in an instant  and turn into a fading memory. Luckily photos are an amazing way to stop time and freeze every milestone along the way.

I have recently revised my Baby Plan so that it’s even easier than ever to make sure you can preserve memories at every step of your journey. I’ve said “goodbye” to my one-sized-fits all approach to capturing baby’s first year and traded it in for a much more flexible way to document your adventure with your little one.

Now, you can book as many or as few sessions as you’d like at once, giving you the freedom to prioritize the milestones that are really most important to you. If you book two or more sessions together, you will receive a discount on  your session fees, and if you book three or more sessions, you will also receive a discount off whatever you purchase at your ordering session. In addition, you will also lock in current pricing for all sessions booked together that take place before your baby turns two.

Any of my portrait session categories are available for the baby plan, but the most common sessions include Maternity, Fresh 48, Newborn, Milestone (either by developmental stage or month), birthday, and family sessions.

I thought I would put together some collages so you can see some examples of baby plans. I just loved putting these together because it’s so fun to see how these kiddos have grown, and when you put photos from all their sessions together, you really see the change!

First up, take a look at the collage in the header of this blog post. Adrienne and Joe have so far done a Maternity session and a Newborn session, but baby Havana is also all signed up for a 6 month session and a birthday session as well. I’ll have to update the collage once we complete those! Doing Maternity and Newborn sessions are a popular option for the baby plan, and I think it’s so special to see the transition from baby in the belly to baby in your arms.

Next up we have the adorable Charlie…

Mom called me after it was a little bit past the regular window for newborn photos, but she knew she wanted photos of Charlie while he was still small. So we started with a 3 month session where this little guy charmed me with his adorable smile and amazing hair. Charlie came back recently for his sitter session, and even though it’s only been about 5 months, look how he’s grown! He’ll be back for his birthday session in a few months, and then we have a family session on the menu for next year! This collage is also a great example of how I like to use the same props and colors at each session in order to clearly demonstrate baby’s growth.

Another of my cute baby plan clients is Jude!

Culver City Newborn Photographer

You might recognize Jude from the behind-the-scenes video I had made. He was the perfect little model for his newborn session, and he has come back for sitter and birthday sessions so far. His cake smash was fun times! Jude always brings his buddy Ivy the puppy with him, which is such a fun tradition.

Logan’s turn!

Fresh 48 sessions are less popular than my regular studio newborn sessions, but I love doing them so much, so I was thrilled when Logan’s mom signed up for both! So far we’ve also done his 6 month sessions, and will do a birthday portrait and cake smash session in a few months. He’s such a cutie, isn’t he?

Zia’s up next!

Zia just recently finished her baby plan with me! After her newborn session, her parents signed her up for a sitter session, a birthday session, and an outdoor family session, which we included the grandparents in, who were visiting from the Philippines! I can’t believe how big she’s gotten in the last 18 months- Now she’s walking and exploring everything around her.

Last but not least is baby Lulu…

Lulu has had 5 sessions with me so far! Her brother William was also one of my very first newborn clients, so it was great to have him in on the action too. So from her mom’s maternity session to their Fresh 48, to the newborn, sitter and birthday sessions, I’ve seen it all with little Lulu.

I absolutely love when clients return for session after session, and I hope you consider doing so! It’s a wonderful way to preserve the memories of your baby’s first year, and it’s one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
